What it costs

What is the average cost of a proposal setup?

The simplest setup starts at [$X] and includes the setup, the photographer for the moment, a bottle of sparkling wine and the flowers to take home. A heart arch with 300 roses, a yacht or a helicopter costs more. The number moves with the place, the date and the scale, and we put it in writing after one call.

What does an elopement cost?

Decor collections run from $1,250 to $2,900 on a public location. The add ons people book most are the officiant with license filing at $499, one hour of photography at $499 and one hour of video at $499. Venue fees for a rooftop, a garden or a yacht are told to you before you decide.

What does wedding planning cost?

Day of coordination from $699, partial planning from $1,499 and full planning from $2,599. Design and decor is quoted in writing from your guest count. Photography and video are $329 an hour when you plan with us, $399 without.

What does party decor cost?

The smallest decor order is [$X]. Every piece is quoted on its own line by email, with delivery, setup and takedown included. A 50% retainer books the date and the team.

What is included in the price?

Every proposal setup except the two room makeovers includes professional photography and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. Setup happens one to three hours before you arrive and we clear everything after you leave. Every fresh flower in the setup goes home with you.

Are there extra fees?

Venue fees for a rooftop, a private beach or a place outside Miami are told to you before you decide. A travel fee can apply by distance. Permits for some public places are confirmed by your coordinator. Nothing is charged that is not in the written total.

How do we pay?

A 50% deposit holds the date and the team, and the balance is due before the event. For short notice we take the full amount. Zelle, Venmo, major credit cards and bank transfers.

Booking and payment

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can, especially for peak season and popular dates. Proposals are usually booked at least two weeks ahead and elopements at least a month ahead, and we take last-minute requests whenever the team and the place are free.

What secures our date?

A signed agreement and a deposit of 50% of the total. Once both are in, the date and the team are reserved. For last-minute events we ask for the full amount before the day.

What payment methods do you accept?

Zelle, Venmo, major credit cards and bank transfers.

Can we reschedule if something comes up?

Yes. We move your event when we hear from you in advance, before the team is on the way, and when the new date and place are available. If the place is taken we help you find another one, and your first payment moves with you.

Can my partner really not find out?

The photographer is in position before you arrive and looks like anyone else on the beach. Booking emails go to a plain address you choose, and nothing is sent to your partner unless you ask us to.

Can we bring family or friends to the proposal?

Yes. Tell us how many people and where you want them hidden, and we plan the reveal with you.

How does the process work?

You contact us and choose a setup or package. You book the date and time with the deposit, fill in a short questionnaire to personalize it, and receive the plan of the day before the event.

Packages and flowers

Can we change a package?

Yes. We adjust existing packages, add or remove elements, or build a custom package around your idea. Tell us what you picture and we suggest the closest starting point.

Can we add extras later?

Yes. You can upgrade or add elements closer to the date, depending on availability.

Can we choose the flower colors?

Yes. Red, white, pink, peach and yellow are standard. Blue, purple or very specific shades need special sourcing and can cost more.

Can we take the flowers home?

Yes. Every fresh flower in your setup is yours to keep. Many couples take them to dinner afterwards or press a few as a keepsake.

Is everything handled by Cloud Nine?

Yes. Planning, design, coordination and florals are all in-house, so you do not need to manage separate vendors.

On the day

How long does the setup last?

Usually one to three hours, depending on the package. We confirm the exact time in advance.

How early does the team arrive?

Between an hour and a half and eight hours before the start, depending on the setup and access to the place.

Do we need to be there during setup?

No. Everything is ready when you arrive. You are welcome to come a little earlier if you like.

Can we choose the start time?

Yes. We recommend a time based on the light, sunset, the rules of the place and the experience you want, and the final choice is yours.

What happens after the setup?

The team comes back after the event and removes everything.

When is the best time to propose?

It depends on the place. Golden hour and the blue hour just after sunset give the softest light for photos, though our photographers work at any time of day.

Places and travel

Do we need a permit for the location?

Some public places need a permit and some do not; your coordinator confirms it for your place. Private places always need availability and fees confirmed in advance.

What if our location is not available?

We suggest similar places or help secure a private one, so you always have a good backup.

Do you travel outside Miami?

Yes. We plan events across South and North Florida, from Key West to Tampa, and out of state on request.

Is there a travel fee?

It can apply depending on distance and logistics. We always confirm it in advance.

Weather

What happens if the weather is bad?

Weather flexibility is written into the contract. We watch the forecast closely, stay in touch with you and adjust the time or move the date. If you cannot reschedule, we can sometimes set up indoors at your home or hotel.

Elopements

What is an elopement?

An intimate wedding ceremony with up to 30 guests, planned around the two of you.

How many guests are included?

Packages include 10 guests. More can be added for an extra fee.

How do we get a marriage license in Florida?

Your coordinator sends the addresses and phone numbers of the county courts where you apply in person. Out-of-state residents can get the license and marry the same day. Florida residents wait three days after the license is issued unless they complete a registered premarital course.

Planning and design

Is a planner only for large events?

No. We have planned events for as few as 10 guests and as many as 200.

What events do you plan?

Weddings, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens and quinceañeras.

Is an event designer the same as a planner?

No. A designer designs and decorates the event. A planner chooses the vendors and runs the logistics, from the venue and caterer to lodging. We offer both, as separate services.

How is decor priced?

Every quote is in writing by email, itemized for each element, with delivery, setup and takedown included. We ask for your budget so the design fits it from the first draft.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully. We provide a certificate of insurance to you and your venue. Please request it at least 5 business days before the event.

Photos and video

Do you offer photography and video?

Yes. Our photographers and videographers specialize in proposals, elopements and weddings, and we are happy to share their portfolios.

When will we receive photos and video?

Photos within 14 business days, usually 7 to 10. Video within 21 business days.
